William P.E. Gunderson
Will is an owner of Gunderson Law Firm and has practiced law in Washington State since 2013. He has represented clients in the Enumclaw and surrounding communities since he became licensed, his areas of practice including criminal and civil litigation, contract law, and estate planning.
Will grew up on a small farm in Enumclaw. The second of four brothers, he attended the local high school there and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington. After graduating from UW, Will went to Idaho to pursue his law degree. He served as a member of the Student Bar Association and was actively involved in student governance and other extra-curricular activities.
Since law school, Will has worked primarily as a public defender for the City of Puyallup, representing thousands of indigent clients in the municipal court. Additionally, he maintains a solo practice and is a member of the Washington State, King County, and Pierce County Bar Associations.
Ivar J. Gunderson
Ivar is an owner of Gunderson Law Firm. Ivar has been a life-long resident of Washington. His practice focuses on criminal and civil litigation.
Ivar was born and raised in Enumclaw. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Washington. After graduating, he worked as a microbiologist at a food safety laboratory. In 2011, he left Seattle for Idaho and earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law. At law school, Ivar became involved in student government, and served on the Student Bar Association.
Since law school, Ivar has served as a criminal prosecutor for several jurisdictions in Pierce County and King County. He has handled thousands of cases, including jury trials and appeals in both municipal court and superior court. Ivar is admitted to practice in Washington State and the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association.
